Premier Colin Barnett met the chairman of China?s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) Mr Zhang Ping in Beijing today. Premier Colin Barnett today gave a keynote speech at a seminar on investment in WA hosted by the Australia China Business Council (ACBC). Mr Barnett told the seminar that while there was some apprehension about Chinese investment at a national level, WA welcomed Chinese involvement. Premier Colin Barnett today witnessed the signing of a letter of intent between Extension Hill Pty Ltd and a Chinese investor group comprising Chongqing International (Holding) Ltd.
