(Investor Seminar News) Fulcrum investor testifies she was sold 'zero risk' – London Free Press

Wednesday 30 November 2011 @ 7:29 pm

A Hanover woman who invested more than $800,000 — the largest amount of any investor — on the advice of Fulcrum Financial, said she believed there was “zero” risk. Patricia Westerhout testified Tuesday on the second day of the trial of former Fulcrum president Troy Van Dyk. Westerhout said well-known financial adviser Jerry White endorsed Fulcrum in a seminar she attended in Listowel in 2005 and she went on to write a series of cheques to Fulcrum vice-president Bill Rogers in follow-up visits to her home. Van Dyk was charged in March 2008 after a 21/2-year investigation by London police and the OPP turned up 87 Fulcrum investors across southern Ontario who lost a total of $3. Gary Smith, a high school teacher from the Hanover area, told the court he invested $100,000 in a Fulcrum “secure life note” after attending a Jerry White seminar in Listowel and meeting with Rogers. read more

Topic: Investor Seminar News – Silver Summit Interview: David Morgan Of Silver-Investor.com – Seeking Alpha

Wednesday 23 November 2011 @ 2:26 pm

I’m here attending this seminar, so here is a thank-you. So that’s what happened in silver, well basically we’ve seen the same and then it sold off and it went down around the $33 level and consolidated between $33 and $38 for quite some time, several weeks, and then it started to consolidate at a higher level, it actually forecast that and made a channel pattern up to around the $40-$42 level. Well, as that second consolidations level had been achieved gold did a silver thing that silver had done months before and went parabolic, not the amount of percentage, but very similar pattern if you look at the chart it went from roughly $1,500. It had 2 margin increases if I remember correctly, and it fell off. Now, the mainstream press has talked about the gold bubble, which is this slightly parabolic move that we saw in silver and gold, and from their perspective perhaps it looks that way, but believe me, that is a warm up compared to the real panic buying that I see in the future. read more
